As I understand it, every dog gets the same dose, from a mastiff to a toy poodle. I stopped all of it a few years ago. Never again.

Yes, there are just too many risks. I think of everyone shares their experiences and their stories and we can all talk about it. We can make way better decisions. It feels like that does not happen in most vet offices.

Do you do any flea or heartworm meds? I tried the trio pill the vet gave and my 6 month old puppy had a seizure! Never again! I do split out the heartworm and flea now and she responds ok but makes me nervous every time! Will definitely ask for titered next time! My sweetie is in her 2nd heat now but was planning on spaying when done. Ugh, such tough decisions!

No, I do not do any flea or heartworm treatments. I’ve had friends who have watched their dogs die from it. There are natural things you can use for the fleas. It really depends on how active your dog is outside and where you live. I feel like everybody has to do what’s best for them, but we do not do anythingoutside of holistic for pets anymore
