I get asked all the time “what do you use for this? What about that?”
Here is the answer. Nothing is one size fits all. If someone is telling you this is the golden pill or the perfect tincture it can be very misleading because every single one of us is different. What has worked for me on my journey may be different for you. Does that mean I won’t share with you what works for me? No. I will share and I want you to go into it knowing you need to try things and find what works for you.
The biggest issue I had with western medicine, especially during the last 5 years was how we were all treated like it is “one size fits all”. In my opinion, this was very harmful to all of us. My health does not look like your health. No ones does.
What do I mean by that? Let me explain.
I only had a few childhood vaccines. I smoked in my late teens. Consumed fast food all through my 20’s. Lived off coffee and cigarettes until I got pregnant in 1995. Did botox and filler in my 30’s. Got a TDAP vaccine in 2014. Never really drank alcohol or did drugs. I dyed my hair for over 30 years. After my TDAP I was diagnosed with 7 illnesses. Suffered with Vertigo and Chronic fatigue for 2 years. Had insane tachycardia and was diagnosed with SVT. I had debilitating pain and was told I had fibromyalgia in 2016. Went on anti depression pills for about 6 months. I was told beta blockers were my ONLY choice. I never went on them and healed my SVT. Got diagnose with ILO and I am pretty sure I have RAD but left western medicine in 2017 after never getting the healing I was seeking just referrals and meds.
The way I see it, all of these things make my health different from yours. We did not even discuss environmental things like pesticides, mold, fumes and other ailments your and I are exposed to. (none are the same) Yet in western medicine and now in some holistic medicine, we are seeing people treat everyone the same. I think this is a huge mistake. Obviously there are thousands of people who received the TDAP vaccine and claim they are fine and not symptomatic. That was not my case. I was drastically affected. Some people have tried anxiety medication and they claim it was life saving for them, but others say it made it worse. It is because we are all so different. Some people get a cold and recover fast, others get really sick. Why is that? Does the sicker person have underlining issues or maybe more toxic overload?
When I started to really understand my body and how to heal it, I really started to understand I had to take responsibility for myself. What goes in and on my body is my choice. I had to lesson my toxic intake. The less toxic products I consumed the better I felt. When I was consuming all the bad things, getting botox, filler and eating badly I would get really sick if I got a cold. Yet now, I rarely get sick. Why is that? Maybe the amount of toxins in my body before really affected me?
So on my journey I noticed there are things I tried that worked great for me and there are things I tried that did not. I started to understand that when I tried something new, I needed to not just throw blind faith at it but really pay attention to how I felt and if it was helping. To do this you must really sit with yourself (I do this every morning) and feel your body. I use to ignore my body and how things made me feel. I will give you a few examples.
** Prescription medication always made me feel terrible. I ignored this and assumed it was just the “side effects” because I was conditioned to believe this.
** When ever I drank I felt lightheaded and out of body. I ignored this because I wanted to fit in.
** Hot flashes, I assumed it was my age and it is part of getting older. This was not the case for me. Once I treated it with detox, I had little to no hot flashes.
** Waking up through the night. Again, I blamed age. Once I removed LED lightbulbs from my house and started watching the sunset, I slept through the night.
These are just a few examples. There are so many contributors to what makes you feel sick and tired. But there is hope. You just have to try things and give all your effort to healing. Healing is not easy and it is not a magic pill. It is a journey of ups and downs.
HEALING IS HARD but it is possible.
There are so many great people and great companies that truly want to help people heal and feel better. There are also people who just care about making a commission or selling you something. You have to use your discernment and your wisdom that is within you. If you think it’s a red flag it probably is. Ask questions. Ask a million if you need to. If someone gets annoyed or defensive, move on from them. That is not the person that should be guiding you.
I am going to share my link below for things that I use, my family uses and my friends use. Thses are all items I love that are tried and true for us. You can ask me questions on my instagram, in my dm’s or comment below. I hope we can all build a community that helps guide and support one another.
